Well what is OEM and Windows System Properties? OEM is short form for Original Equipment Manufacturer. You can see Windows System Properties by pressing Windows button+Pause/Break on your keyboard. Try it and you will see its pretty boring to look. Actually, you can add some text like your company name etc and custom image!
Custom OEM text
Go to C:Windows:System32. Now search oeminfo. Now click it. You will see the following text.
[General]
Manufacturer=
Model=
Put any text you want after the (=) sign. Keep it in one line though. Save it and open System Properties. Your text will appear. You can also add a button with more text below it.
Just type the following on the same file before.
[Support Information]
Line1=
Line2=
(and so on)
Exp:
[General]Manufacturer=Model=
[Support Information]Line1=Line2=Line3=
Line4=
You can put any text after the equal sign. Keep in one line. Make a new line to add additional text line.
Custom OEM picture
Just find a picture with a size of 180x114 pixel or less. Make sure it is in BMP format. Rename it OEMlogo. Now copy it to the Windows>System32 folder.
After doing all that, open System Properties and admire your new fresh look of it! P/s; Tell me if this work in Vista and 7.
